Overview

The MB-BAD16 allows ADAT Light pipe(8-CH ADAT in and 8-CH ADAT out ),S/PDIF and other protocols

Toslink Digital Audio and Power signal to be transmitted over Cat5/6 Cable,up to 397ft(121M),in point-to-point

configuration.it is built in ESD surge suppressor to protect Toslink Interface equipment against damaging voltage spikes.

MB-BAD16 supports most standards to transmit one ADAT Light pipe,uncompressed lossless PCM audio or compressed 5.1/7.1

surround sound,such as Dolby® Digital Plus or DTS High Resolution Audio (Multi channel Digital Audio Dolby Digital® 5.1, DTS,

and Dolby® True HD).the power(DC12V) is transmitted over Cat5,So just either Transmitter or Receiver unit needs to be powered.

Used in pairs,and can be used in Digital 8x8 snake with Recording Devices,Interconnection of ADAT enabled equipment,digital

mixers and so on.
